Black Hills Community Economic Development
contributes to the diverse business activity of western South Dakota and sections of neighboring states. Most notably, BHCED assists entrepreneurs in financing new and expanding businesses through the U.S. Small Business Administration’s 504 Loan Program, and through partnerships with the West River Revolving Loan Fund and the Small Business Development Center.
The Black Hills region is made up of distinct cities and towns comprising a comprehensive Black Hills community of 190,000 residents. As evidenced by its universities, microbreweries, world-class adventure sports, and youthful workforce, the Black Hills region holds special appeal for young business people and their employees.
